Lost Consciousness by Cat Lawless

I'm so thrilled to announce the release of 'Lost Consciousness' the long awaited follow up to my debut solo single 'Somewhere', October 2024.

I wrote Lost Consciousness with the fabulous songwriter & producer Marc Burford in the autumn of 2023, whilst we continued to write more material which has accumulated to an album's worth of mostly completed arrangements. During this process Lost Consciousness took shape with the inclusion of violin and keys from Georgie Amelia before George Haworth brought in his bass and executive producer hat to further enhance the track with low-end depth and creative production concepts.

Lost Consciousness, reveals a narrative of tortured secrets and trauma with music that twists and turns in on itself, releasing powerful emotions through the superb musical interplay between Marc, George and Georgie. Marc's weaving dreamy vocals offer a hypnotic quality that carries the spirit of the track with effortless grace, an absolute perfect fit, in my humble opinion.
